COVER REVEAL: When Painted With Deceit

It’s been almost two years since I’ve done this–finished a book, put it up on preorder, and crafted the perfect cover for it. Or done a cover reveal!

Many authors and writers often remark that getting a cover done for an unwritten or work in progress book motivates them to continue writing and finishing their manuscript. I am always in awe of these writers–even those that have a title for the piece they are working on.

I struggle with book titles and so far, have never been able to find a name before I hit “The End”. This time, dipping my toes back into the book publishing game, the struggle got too real. In fact, I had almost given up, so sure that the title won’t come to me at all.

Finally, after multiple edits, rewrites, and read-throughs me and my dear Sleekit Sleuths found a name: When Painted With Deceit.

Personally, this book is a victory for me–my comeback. And I really wanted a wonderful cover to celebrate this. So for the past month, I’ve been working with a cover designer to make the perfect cover for When Painted With Deceit. And I’m very happy to show you the final version:
