Aileen & Callan are back again!

Have you ever done something then years later looked back wondering how you did it? It's been that kind of a week for me.

A few days ago, I sorted through all the Aileen & Callan books and lined them up on a table. It was surreal to see the wee parade, each book telling the story of two human beings who are opposite in every way finding love and life with each other.

On a whim, I picked up When Birds Fall Silent to reminisce the story of how these two 'rivals' ended up getting together. Oh yes, I did find myself screaming at the two eejits to stop being boneheaded and just kiss! I mean, they are both as thick as can be. (Urgh!)

Anyhow, my intention wasn't just to 'ohh' and 'aah' at Aileen and Callan or meander down memory lane. I was revisiting the past to plot a murder…

I am, very happy to say, murder, mayhem and Siobhan-madness is back in Loch Fuar! And this isn't just another adventure. This time, the stakes are high, high enough for us to finally understand what happened to Callan in 2005.

We've been waiting for this moment ever since we realised Callan's 'secret'. And the man's been keeping us in suspense ever since.

So, are you ready for this wild journey? I so am!
