Tropes I don't like to write are love triangles, any kind of other partner drama or cheating.

Are Shana's romantic suspense books standalone or part of a series?

All of the romantic suspense titles are standalone. You don't need to read previous books in the series to follow along the new ones. But readers love the characters so much, they often read the entire series in order. 

Which romantic suspense series should I start with?

I have two series:

  • Scottish Investigators: Glasgow
  • Buchanan Security: Glasgow

All books in this series are standalone and don't depend on each other. However, all my books are set in Glasgow where people tend to know each other. So you'll bump into a few familiar faces as you read the books. 

I'd recommend starting with Strangers In Crime, which is a short novella that introduces you to Glasgow.
